Lance Bass comes out the closet!

N'Sync's Lance Bass is finally admitting that he's gay after years of speculation from tabloids and blogs. He's featured on the cover of People magazine and the title says "I'm Gay". He's currently seeing model/actor and Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkuhl and also working on a sitcom where he'll be playing a gay character:

"The thing is, I’m not ashamed – that’s the one thing I want to say," he explains of his decision to come out. "I don't think it's wrong, I'm not devastated going through this. I'm more liberated and happy than I’ve been my whole life. I'm just happy." As for why he's talking about this now Bass says, "The main reason I wanted to speak my mind was that (the rumors) really were starting to affect my daily life. Now it feels like it's on my terms. I'm at peace with my family, my friends, myself and God so there's really nothing else that I worry about." .....Source.

Comedian Mo'Nique kicked of plane.

After getting into an arguement over a hair dryer being placed in first class with a United Airlines flight attendant, comedian Mo'Nique was escorted off the plane. She explains in detail to ET what happened:

"I'm in disbelief that it happened to me," she tells ET.

According to Mo'Nique, a flight attendant approached her and addressed her in a rude and unprofessional manner. "The flight attendant comes up to me and says, 'Listen, you need to let your people know ... if they don't straighten out their attitude I'll have them thrown off this flight,'" she said from her hometown of Baltimore this morning. "And I said, 'No, you're not gonna speak to me like that. You're not gonna be rude and disrespectful.' [He said,] 'Well, you know what, I'll have you thrown off, too.' He snapped his fingers and walked away."

She says that the flight attendants were upset that a member of her support team -- who was sitting in coach -- put Mo'Nique's hairdryer in first class where the star was sitting. After she voluntarily got off the plane, a United employee told her that since 9/11, they don't take threats lightly. "If I am such a threat," Mo'Nique points out, "why am I not being taken out of the airport? Why are you trying to get me on any flight if I posed a terrorist threat? That's not making sense to me." "They felt it was okay to mistreat me and pull me out of my seat, simply because I would not allow them to be disrespectful," Mo'Nique says. "I'm angry, I'm in shock. It was incredibly humiliating and embarrassing for me. Police were everywhere."

The actress was attempting to fly to New York in order to guest host "The View." She did make that engagement, sitting down with the ladies Monday morning.

After the story broke, United Airlines issued the following statement:

"The safety of all of our passengers and our crew is our top priority, and that we regret that Ms. Imes felt in any way that she was not treated with courtesy and respect. When a situation occurs on a flight that causes a delay, or disruption, we must act in the best interest of all of our customers. It was determined that the best course of action was to accommodate Ms. Imes on a later flight.".....Source.

Kelly Rowland pregnant! Yeah right!

San Francisco's Daily Dish is reporting London's Daily Mirror that Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child released a statement that she is pregnant (couldn't even find the article on the site). Don't know if it's true because there was also a recent rumor that Ashanti was preggers too and it turned out to be false:

"Former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland is two months pregnant with her first child. Rowland, who was working on a solo record, will put her pop plans on hold until after the birth, according to British tabloid the Daily Mirror.

She says, "It's kind of a bittersweet feeling because I was planning to release an album next year." The singer, 25, has yet to reveal the father of her unborn child. Last year she was due to marry Dallas Cowboys football player Roy Williams, but they called the ceremony off, claiming they were both too young to get married. Rowland recently revealed she had started dating again."......Source.

"Deja Vu" video making folks dizzy!

Folks are filing a petition for Beyonce to redo her new video for "Deja Vu" featuring Jay-Z. The Petition says:

This petition is for the advocacy of having Ms. Beyonce' Knowles, Columbia Records, Music World Entertainment, and all other entities associated with the creative process of creating the long-form music video known as "Deja Vu" reshoot aforementioned video immediately. This video is an underwhelming representation of the talent and quality of previous music video projects of Ms. Knowles. The following problems have been pointed out by numerous fans on and offline:

A) There is no clear story or theme to the video
B) The dancing is erratic, confusing and alarming at times
C) The sexual themes and shots between Ms. Knowles and Mr. Sean Carter PKA Jay-Z, are alarming and show unacceptable interactions between the two
D) The fashion in this video, while haute-couture, is unbelievable and ridiculous
E) The editing, while professionally done, causes one to get dizzy and disoriented
F) The overall feel of the video leaves a sense of much to be desired
G) The video is very disappointing and is not a clear representation of any of the songs themes

We, the fans of one Beyonce' Knowles, ask that an alternative video be shot featuring; more choreographed & less spontaneous dancing, clearer visual themes that relate to the lyrics of the song, less gyrating, less scenes of non-existant sexual chemistry between Mr. Carter and Ms. Knowles, less zooming and quick cut edits and a more stylized and clear direction for all other aspects of the video production. Suggested in this re-shoot would be the hire of another producer besides Ms. Sophie Mueller -- one more acclimated to urban themes and imagery in music videos, other than Hype "Letterbox" Williams.

If you've seen the video and agree with them, you can sign the petition here. It seems folks have a lot of time on their hand, how about just skipping watching it all together, that way you don't pass out while watching it. Next thing you know, they'll start suing her for hospital bills.

So I'm sure you've all heard by now that Pamela Anderson is set to marry Kid rock on July 26, 2006. She announced the engagement via her diary on her website, how cute.....I wish them the best, just hope it's for real this time.

Dallas Austin gets pardon in Dubai.

R&B producer Dallas Austin who is well known for working with top acts like TLC (he's also Chilli's son's father), Janet Jackson and Madonna has been in a Dubai jail after he was caught at the airport with 1.26 grams of cocaine. Austin was reportedly on his way to Naomi Campbell's birthday party on May 19 when he was arrested and has been in jail since. He was pardoned Tuesday by Dubai ruler Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and released today and is on his way back to the U.S.....Source.
