Queen Latifah wants to be a Mama

Contactmusic.com is reporting that Queen Latifah is planning on becoming a mother in the next 12 months, she's putting movies and music on hold for this. She says "I'm really working on it. I've got everyone galvanised, I've cleared my schedule, and it's going to happen soon. God willing, I will be a mom by this time next year.....The thing about having a child is... I believe it's the most unselfish thing you could ever do. They're going to come first"......say it ain't so.....source.

CSI cutie accused of rape and battery.

According to a site called the panachereport.com, Gary Dourdan who plays crime scene investigator Warrick Brown on CSI is being accused of rape and battery by an ex-girlfriend. He in return has filed a $4 million dollar lawsuit lawsuit accusing her of slander and negligent infliction of emotional distress and is saying "she's a fatal attraction' stalker who called him up to 30 times a day, left threatening messages and slept in her car outside his home.".....this sounds crazy and if it's true that's what you get for dealing with a psycho.....source (scroll to read story)

Bernarde Lacoste 74, well known for his fashion line polo shirts embossed with the crocodile passed away today. Lacoste was founded in 1933 by his father Rene and Bernard took over the company in 1963 and expanded it to include a women's and accessory line. He is survived by his wife Sachiko and 3 children from a previous marriage.

Prince sued by landlord for makeunder.

Prince is being sued by his landlord NBA star Carlos Boozer from whom he's renting a $1. Million house for $70,000 a month for painting his symbol and album title "3121" on the house. According to the SmokingGun.com where you can actually view the lawsuit papers filed in January, it alleges that Prince had purple stripes painted on the house and installed a purple monogrammed carpet in the master bedroom....this dude is very obsessed with the color purple and taking it way too far....

"Responding to the lawsuit, Prince's counsel denied the owner's allegations, adding that rent was accepted for December and January "without objection." In mid-February, a month after the complaint was filed, an attorney for the Boozer company sought the suit's dismissal, a request the court approved. Since the dismissal was granted "without prejudice," the landlord has the ability to file another suit on the same claims. The Prince/MPG Music lease, which ends May 31, stipulates that all parties involved in the rental agree to sign a confidentiality agreement about the deal"

Star confirms plastic surgery.

According to InTouch Weekly, Star Jones's rep Brad Zeifman is confirming that she's had some major work done, as in a breast life and tummy tuck to remove excess skin and "She is recovering wonderfully". She had the operation last week and was taken to St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica after complications. Also her husband Al Reynolds ended up in the ER and got stitches to his head after falling during a workout in a New York gym...I wish both of them a speedy recovery but I'll say Star definitely needs that breast lift and tummy tuck coz she's been looking really disgusting lately, can't wait to see the new figure.

Police beat Lil Kim's driver to death.

New York's Daily News is reporting that Lil Kim's limo driver O'Neil Solomon was beaten viciously by police after he sped away from a traffic stop in Brooklyn on February 21. A nurse who witnessed the whole thing said: "I saw their faces. They just looked so angry," she said. "There was one cop trying to move another cop out of the way so he could get a piece of him. He had his baton way up in the air and just started hitting him in the leg." When she confronted the cops she was handcuffed and taken to the precinct and later released. Solomon was charged with leaving the scene of a crime and released on $2,500 bail and could barely walk as he left Rikers Island. He checked into Brookdale hospital a few days later complaining that he felt sick, days later at home he began vomitting violently and was rushed to the hospital where he later died. The medical examiner concluded that he died of natural causes specifically heart disease but his family is denying that was a non-smoker and was very fit.

R Kelly's brother outs him.

According to EURWeb.com, R Kelly's brother Carl was recently on New York Hip Hop radio station Hot 97 revealing some disturbing allegations that his brother is bisexual, that he's had sex with his cousin and the young girl in the infamous video is R&B singer Sparkle's niece. Carl had just put our a tell all DVD called "The Drama Never Ends" that discusses the claims and even goes on to say he was unwilling to spend money on his mother's tombstone because he was upset she didn't leave his step-father. Carey pleaded during the Hot 97 show with Miss Jones to the listeners : "For anybody that really cares about R. Kelly, somebody needs to tell him he needs help." Also of note is the fact that R Kelly's lawyer had commented that Carl was the one in the sex video and not the R&B singer. Carl then went on Chicago's NBC 5 to clear his name. (here's the video). Anyone that has seen that video knows that it's R Kelly and not his brother Carl and it's sad that he's trying to pin it on his own brother who clearly doesn't look anything like him. The video not only shows him with the underage girl but with numerous females of various ages.......Maybe Carl is onto something here and we really need to reevaluate who R Kelly is.

Donald Trump is a Daddy again.

Donald Trump and beautiful wife Melania are now the proud parents of a baby boy. “Everyone’s perfect,” Trump said in a telephone interview on MSNBC’s “Imus in the Morning.” He and wife Melania Knauss Trump had not yet decided on a name. He's quoted as saying "I continue to stay young, right? I produce children, I stay young," . Trump who is 59 has 4 children from his two ex-wives, Marla and Ivana and now Melania who is 35 makes 5....source.

Sources are saying that Tom Cruise threatened to cancel all publicity for Mission Impossible 3 unless Comedy Central cancel the repeat airing of South Park's "Trapped in the Closet". The episode which was scheduled to air yesterday was a satire of Scientology and Cruise's sexuality.

Jackson closes Neverland Ranch.

Michael Jackson closed down Neverland ranch a day after he agreed to pay off his employees to avoid a lawsuit by the California Department of Industrial Relations. Employees were being told they laid off because the state ordered the ranch closed yesterday.....source.

50 in "Home of the Brave"

Filming has began in Morrocco on Irwin Winkler's Iraqi war drama "Home of the Brave," starring Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Biel, Christina Ricci and 50 Cent. 50 is quoted saying:

"My character is 22 years old. The film is showing the effects of war. That's what's exciting to me about it, because it is totally relevant to what's going on right now. It shows not just what happens to a person after killing, but what happens when there is a lot of death around you. How your spirit changes. I am not supportive of the war, but I am definitely supportive of the soldiers. A lot of people go to Iraq while they were just trying to get a college education."

Britney rushed to Hawaii hospital.

FemaleFirst is reporting that Britney Spears was rushed to a hospital when she stepped out of a car barefoot and onto a hypodermic needle as she vacationed in Hawaii. She was taken to Hawaii State Hospital were tests showed the needle was unused, treated of a nasty cut and released....that sounds really crazy....source.

Jessica Simpson turns down President.

Jessica Simpson turned down an invitation to meet with President Bush yesterday for a republican fund-raiser saying "It just feels wrong". She is scheduled to visit Washington today to lobby a non profit free plastic surgery for disadvantaged children with facial deformities called "Operation Smile"...and yall thought she was just plain dumb, the girl's got a brain that works....source.

Don Cheadle might play Miles

Actor Don Cheadle is being eyed to play jazz great Miles Davis in a biographical movie. Miles' family has been in talks in hopes that director Anthony Fuqua of "Training Day" will direct the movie. James Bond has surgery.

Sir Sean Connery, the original and first James Bond is recovering from surgery to remove a benign tumor from one of his kidneys in a New York hospital. According to FemaleFirst, he says: "I was opened in five places, including a tube up my d**k."...lol....at least he still has his sense of humor.

New York Post's Page Six and Ananova are reporting that Kevin Federline has been told by Britney to be on a budget. She's upset about his out of control spending has been told by her accountants to put his azz on a budget. They've been fighting a lot and it must be related to his spending habits and his trashy lifestyle. Britney now gives him an allowance for his partying and if he wants a car she has to approve it....gee the life and times of a kept man......hmmm.

Michael Jackson ordered to close Neverland ranch.

Jackson has been ordered to shut down the ranch for not paying his employees and renewing their compensation insurance. The worker's compensation policy lapsed in January as officials discovered so they ordered it temporarily closed down but he is allowed to hire an outside company to run the ranch.
Jackson has suffered a great deal of financial setbacks especially since his child molestation charges and has since moved to Bahrain. Animal rights activists had accused him of animal cruelty saying the animals at the ranch were not being properly cared for and local animal welfare officials have been asked to care for them....Source.

The Wayans Bros create "Thugaboo".

"Thugaboo" is Shawn, Marlon and Keenan Ivory Wayans' first animated children's project. A series of specials will premiere on Nickelodeon, then air on the network's all-animation channel, Nicktoons, a network spokeswoman said Wednesday, March 8, 2006. It is inspired by the brothers favorite childhood cartoons and takes a humorous look at the trial and tribulations of nine very different kids growing up in the inner city.

The picture on the left was also in the New York Daily News and is circulating the net. She really does look pregnant, I can only shake my head in disappointment.

Katie picks Victoria as birthing partner

According to UK's Life Style Extra, Katie Holmes has chosen Victoria Beckham as her birthing partner, they even practice breathing exercises over the phone. I'm guessing they've been hanging around each other a lot and Tom is probably trying to convert the Beckhams to Scientology.

Bobby Brown in trouble again.

Bobby Brown was arrested last week during his daughter's high school cheerleading tournament, when an officer did a warrant check on him. It revealed an unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle violation from 14 years ago for driving an uninsured trailer. He was detained for an hour and released on $40 bond and he was very cooperative with police. Source...

Superman's widow Dana Reeves dies.

Dana Reeve, wife of "Superman" Christopher Reeve has died of lung cancer. She survived by their 13 year old son Will and 2 step children Matthew and Alexandra. She gave up her acting career to care for her husband after he was paralyzed until his death on October 10, 2004. She announced last August that she had been diagnosed with the disease despite the fact that she was a non-smoker.

"I have recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and am currently undergoing treatment. I have an excellent team of physicians and we are optimistic about my prognosis. My family and I deeply appreciate the care and concern of our friends and supporters and trust that everyone understands our need and desire for privacy during this time. I hope before too long to be sharing news of my good health and recovery. Now, more than ever, I feel Chris with me as I face this challenge. Jermaine coming for Michael in new book.

This is crazy but according to the New York's Daily News, Jermaine Jackson who has been shopping a tell all book on brother Michael Jackson, saying he feared he was guilty of child molestation charges but supported him because he was afraid he'd commit suicide in jail. He even goes on to say he witnessed an incident where the family was together after Tito's wife's death and Michael was sitting on a bed with Tito's young sons and holding them in a disturbing manner.
Excerpts from the Daily News:

"Does he really know what he does with these kids?" Jermaine wondered.

"I don't want to tell you my brother's innocent. I am not certain that he is," Jermaine said in the tome-teaser drafted by author Stacy Brown, who co-authored "Michael Jackson: The Man Behind the Mask" with the singer's former publicist, Bob Jones.

Other bombshell teasers in Jermaine's outline include:
* That during the Jackson 5 days, Michael's brothers feared he was gay. The brothers met lots of women while touring and all eventually fell in love. "But Michael, well, he wasn't interested. We used to quietly say that we couldn't have a gay brother."

* Michael hates Jews because he thinks Hollywood moguls Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen stole the idea for Dreamworks studio, including the boy-on-the moon logo, from him.

Is Jermaine trying to cash in on Michael? Why did he wait so long to do this, they are saying that the proposal for the book wasn't picked up because it wasn't written well. Does this mean that the case might be re-opened? Guess we just have to wait and see.

Lil Kim's breasts leaking???

I heard this on the radio this morning and in the papers, word is that rapper Lil Kim who is currently serving jailtime for perjury and conspiracy, is suffering from a leakage from her breast implants. New York's Daily News writes:
"Her rep swears the hip-hop diva is "perfectly healthy." But we hear she's confided to family members about a festering problem with her magnificent mammaries.
Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman Traci Billingsley wouldn't discuss Kim's health because "an inmate's medical history is not public." But Billingsley says that the Philly detention center has a doctor on staff. "If [the prison medical unit] can't handle it, they will contract out treatment," says Billingsley."

Also of note is the reality series Lil' Kim: Countdown to Lockdown, which premieres Thursday, March 9 at 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The reality special chronicles the days leading up to Lil' Kim's bid and the exclusive footage was filmed in the two weeks prior to Lil' Kim's incarceration. The show is executive produced by Tracey Edmonds.

Eddie's and Nicole's divorce getting messy.

New York Post's Page Six is reporting that Eddie Murphy's soon to be ex-wife Nicole Mitchell is digging up the past tranvestite incident as the divorce gets messier. Reported in this month's Essence magazine, she says that Murphy's excuse for the trannie incident was that he saw the person on the corner crying and had on many occasions emptied his pocket to help out hookers. If you remember the ealier story, it kind of makes us think Murphy's got a lot of sugar in his tank.

So I picked up the latest issue of Jamie Brown's Sister 2 Sister with Lil Mo on the cover talking about how her marriage ended and within the magazine a crazy story. In an interview with Jamie, Bobby Brown said Whitney was resting up at home and was pregnant and Jamie concluded the interview by saying this is the first place you've heard it....please no crack babies!

Jessica Alba suing Playboy.

Actress Jessica Alba is suing Playboy for their March magazine cover where she's wearing a bikini despite the fact that she's not posing nude in it. She's very upset because they used unethical means to obtain the picture and used it without her permission. Her lawyers are demanding that Playboy stop circulating the magazine and offer her a monetary settlement according to People.com. The cover model usually poses nude in the magazine but in this case Alba isn't. The letter to Playboy can be read at TheSmokingGun.com website.

Mariah to star in "Tennessee".

Songbird Mariah Carey is slated to star in "Tennessee" an indie movie about a multi-racial waitress and her two brothers who are in search of their estranged father. Since the catastrophic "Glitter", Mariah has not played any major movie roles and the producer of "Tennessee" Lee Daniels who never saw "Glitter" thinks that award winning Mariah can pull it off. I really hope she does because folks who saw "Glitter" don't think she can act, I think she deserves another chance.
